Two people · Chesterfield, Derbyshire · Fixed prices

Two blokes. One writes the code.

We build the small pieces of software that do the jobs your people currently do by hand, for a price agreed before we start, and you own what we build.

Who you will be dealing with

Both of us, on the first call.

Founder & CTO

Ben Horne

Writes every line of it. Ten years building software that has to keep working at three in the morning when nobody is watching it.

Founder

Kieron

Looks after the sales side, and is usually the first person you speak to. He will have the person building it on the call with him.

How this started

Ben had spent a decade building systems for companies big enough to have a procurement process, and kept being asked by smaller firms for the same thing at a tenth of the size. AI Guys is that: the same work, scoped down to something a five-person business can actually buy.

Key facts

Everything a buyer usually has to ring up and ask.

The same values go into the structured data this page ships with, from the same file, so the version a search engine reads and the version you are reading cannot disagree. Anything we have not confirmed is missing from both rather than filled in.

The client names above are the ones who have agreed to be named, and each one links to a live business from the work pages. Where a figure appears beside a name, how we counted it is written down.

Worth saying plainly

One builder, two names over the door.

Ben also runs The Automation Agency (automation-agency.co.uk); either front door reaches the same builder.

The prices are the same on both. The same work costs the same whichever door you came through, and if you have had a quote from one of them, that is your quote. The difference is the shirt: that one talks to finance directors about process, this one talks to owners about the job they are sick of doing.

Systems we have worked against

Named because a buyer searching for their own accounting system wants to know before they ring anybody. These are stacks with delivered work behind them, not a list of logos.

How to reach us

  • The contact form
  • A booking calendar on the same page

Both land on a phone rather than in an inbox. A person answers within 24 hours.

Who we have built for

4 businesses who said yes to being named.

We have delivered work for businesses that have not agreed to be named, and those stay a count rather than a name. External links open the client's own site, because a name you cannot check is not proof of anything. Start with Marmadbir.
